Craig Williamz

Craig Williamz has been associated with the Rowville Football Club for the past 12 years
A selfless individual, Craig affectionately known as “Crackers” to many, has spent countless hours volunteering his time prior to and during home games coordinating and assisting to run our beloved Hill Bar.

For those who are not aware of what it takes to make this happen, there’s at least a couple of hours set up and pack up each home game in addition to hours spent behind the BBQ.

When you are talking more than a decade of continuous volunteer service, that’s a huge commitment!

Behind the scenes, there’s the meat to collect, eggs and rolls to pick up – not to mention the countless other supplies to organise, gas bottles to fill, cleaning of equipment, sourcing volunteers etc.

If there is anyone at the club who needs a lending hand, you can always count on “Crackers” to willingly offer assistance. A cheeky character “Crackers” is well loved by players and members alike. Craig has held a position on the committee for years and embodies everything RFC stands for – Commitment, Trust and Respect.

Craig’s business CD Automotive has been a major sponsor of the club for more than 7 years. His support has been invaluable and without the generous financial assistance of his company, the club would simply not be in the position it finds itself today.

A well-deserved recipient of the Volunteer of the year award this year, we are confident Craig will have resounding support from members and players alike.

Matthew Brigham

Matthew has been a member of Rowville Junior Football Club & Rowville Football Club for the past 28 years.

Matthew started as a junior at the age of 13 and as a 16 year old played in the under 18A team fielded by Rowville Junior Football Club. He has played over 300 games (junior and senior).

He was also Runner for the RFC Senior side under Paul Mynott for a season.

Matthew has been a member of the committee and social team for a number of years and was also vice president of the club in 1998.

He has also been a sponsor of the club and a player sponsor over the years.

Matthew has been nominated for Life Membership for the last 4 years unfortunately only just missing out each time.

He has a young family and has moved away from Rowville but still attends most games both home and away and social functions.

Matt is still one of the first ones to put his hand up to help out whenever required to do so i.e. helping out with the install of the undercover area seating and also organising and helping run past players functions over the last couple of years.

Matthew still remains an active member of the Rowville Football Club to the current day.
