ROWVILLE FC VISIT RISE HEALTH GROUP FACILITITES

Last night the senior playing group was given the opportunity to tour the facilitates at The Rise Health Group in Humphrey’s Way Rowville, including the well-equipped gymnasium. This was preceded by a light training session on the adjoining soccer pitch and a presentation by 3 time Hawthorn premiership player Darren Pritchard, all of this was arranged by High Performance director Stuart Canavan.

Darren addressed the boys around the importance of the correct preparation, effort and execution along with sharing some stories of the Hawthorn glory years (do they ever end at Hawthorn?) from the mid-eighties/early nineties and the important roles many unsung heroes played in the team simply by playing their role for the team.

This week will see the boys commence specific training programs behind closed doors at Rise Health Group as they make their gymnasium exclusive to the Rowville FC playing group from 17,s upwards, all under the direct supervision of fully qualified staff.

The Rowville FC would like to extend a very big thank you to Darren Pritchard for giving up his time and sharing some valuable insights in “high level” preparation and the willingness to make sacrifices to achieve team success. We would also like to thank Stuart for organising the night (including access to the training venue) and all the staff at The Rise Health Group.

It’s always footy season and the boys are on the track and working towards 2016.

GO HAWKS!
