Rise Health Group – News
The “Rise Health Group” continues to strengthen its partnership with the Rowville Football Club with further strategic appointments to bolster the “Rise Health Group” team focussing on improving all aspects of the health and wellness program of our club.
Firstly, we are pleased to announce that Matt Timmers has joined their physio team and will play a pivotal role assistingPhysiotherapist & High Performance Director Stuart Canavan with the physiotherapy needs of the Rowville Football Club. Matt will be providing physio services for players at training on a Thursday night and will assist at games on Saturday afternoon for the remainder of 2016 down at Seebeck.
This coming Tuesday night (10th May) at 7.30pm Stuart will also bring down and introduce Dr. Tracy Peters to meet the entire playing group.
Dr Peters now consults with “Rise Health Group” and is a very experienced sports doctor.
A review of her extensive experience in AFL football (Former Club doctor for Hawthorn FC) will attest to her ability to assist players as needed, she is also a surgical assistant with the Melbourne Orthopaedic Group so direct access to her allows our players to get very quick orthopaedic reviews organised if needed.
Matt,s placement as a fully qualified club physio and direct access to Dr Peter’s and all she brings with her wealth of experience is pretty much unprecedented in local football circles.
It places the Rowville Football Club and all its players in great hands whilst continuing on with the clubs goal to be “the most professional football club within the Eastern Football League”. Further it is all part of the growing strategic partnership between the Rowville FC & “Rise Health Group” and their ongoing program and desire to ensure our players receive the best possible management.
The entire club welcome Matt and Dr. Peters to the Rowville FC family and have no doubt it will clearly place us at the head of the field when it comes to “sports medicine, health & well-being”.
Thanks to Stuart Canavan and the entire team at “Rise Health Group” for their ongoing support.
