Rowville Football Club Interleague Representatives

16 Jun 2014 by David Howlett

The Rowville Football Club is extremely proud of the 9 boys who represented our club and the EFL at the Interleague Metropolitan Junior Championships over the past few weeks. Rowville originally had 11 participants, however injuries to both Daniel Houeix and Trent Mynott prevented them both from taking part in the carnival. Congratulations to Jedd O’Sullivan, Ethan Grose, Kane Young, Lachlan Old, Dylan Moore, Hayden Boyce, Kyle Stainthorpe, Joel Laycock and Kang Nyoak, who all made valuable contributions to their squads. A fantastic effort from our club.

All 4 EFL Interleague sides were unbeaten in 2014 and have now booked their place in the Victorian Metropolitan Junior Championships Grand Finals, taking place over 2 weeks, as follows:

14/15 Division 1: Saturday June 21, Shepley Oval Dandenong

14/15 Division 2: Saturday June 28, Shepley Oval Dandenong

We encourage everyone to support our club and fellow teammates by coming along for what promises to be some fantastic football over the next few weeks.

Best of luck in the Grand Final boys. You’ve worked hard and I’m sure you’ll give it your all to bring home a win on the day.
