NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting of members of the Rowville Football Club Incorporated will be held on Wednesday 14th September, 2016 at 7pm at the Rowville Football Club Social Rooms, Seebeck Oval, Stud Road, Rowville.

The meeting will be for the purpose of considering and voting on the submission of amended and re-audited 2015 financial reports to the Department of Justice, to better represent the Club’s financial position at 31st October, 2015.

Comment by the Committee:
The current committee identified several discrepancies in the 2015 financial reports. After discussion with the auditor, considerable work was undertaken to investigate and rectify accounting errors to better represent the club’s financial records. A new set of financial documents was presented to the Club’s auditor and a subsequent auditor’s report has been issued. The members will be required to pass the amended reports and supporting documentation before the Club can lodge its annual return with the Department of Justice.
